Welcome to The Castro Files. On this episode of The Castro Files, we dig into the uncover the origin story behind Wes Craven's movie 'The Hilles Have Eyes'. The movie itself is an intense horror classic, but the story of the cannibalistic Bean family is even more gruesome. The Bean family lived in Scottland during the 16th century and were headed by Sawney Bean and "'Black" Agnes Douglas. Reportedly there were up to 48 family members all living in a cave, with one of their main food sources was in fact local missing travelers from the surrounding communities. Welcome to The Castro Files. In this episode of The Castro Files Greg covers bizarre cases of temporary amnesia, otherwise known as Dissociative Fugue State. The primary focus of today's story is Hannah Upp. A normal, healthy woman from New York City that went out for a run and ended up missing for 12 days. Fugue State is a medical mystery that suddenly causes people to disconnect from their personality and in many cases flee their current location. Often times individuals are found when they snap back to reality or in some cases they may never reconnect with their previous identity.

Welcome to The Castro Files. This week we have two stories that both take place in the forest. The first is a very famous UFO abduction story that took place in Northern Arizona. In 1974 Travis Walton and several of his companions were travelling a logging road home after a day of work when they noticed a very strange light and an unusual craft. What happened over the next five days is one of the most documented cases of Alien abduction ever documented. The second story, The Whimper Tree, will make you think twice about playing in the forest. What if there are places or things, we just shouldn't mess with that could do us harm?
