Have you even been in a situation that is so dire that you feel all is lost? If not, that's probably a good thing, but for some people this has been the circumstance. There are events in life that are so harrowing that we need assistance from someone else. Adventurers and explorers over the years, when in dire situations, have shared stories of a mysterious addition to their party who provided support, encouragement, and guidance. Is it possible that it's our brain's reaction to the stressful event, or perhaps an Angel looking over us. Or is it The Third Man.

There have been many names for the big hairy creature that roams remote locations throughout the world. Names like Big Foot, The Skunk Ape, Sasquatch to name a few. One you may not have heard is the Honey Island Swamp Monster.

The Paris Catacombs, formerly quarries, have been around for centuries. The winding tunnels are an estimated 200 miles long and lined with the bones of millions of Parisians.
During the late 1700's Paris had a dead body problem. So many people had died over the millennia that the Cemetaries were filled, and bodies were piling up. This led to diseases spreading so they had to find a solution. A solution directly under the city of Paris, in the catacombs.
The catacombs aren't just a dumping ground for the dead, the bones of the people relocated were placed in a very unique manner, almost artfully so.
Over the years several people have gone missing below ground. One unlucky guy even had his video camera with him recording his movements, until something scares him so bad that he drops the camera and runs frantically into the dark - The Lost Man.

Do you believe in witches? Growing up in a small New England town that dates back a few hundred years, it's easy to imagine that the creepy old house situated on some back road would be the home of the town witch. Even to this day I can recall that house.
The story of Hannah Cranna Hovey has much of the same lore. Born in 1783 in Monroe, Connecticut began with the death of her husband. The town locals believed that Hannah must have put a spell on him.
Throughout Hannah's life she was a bit of a recluse and had several oddities about her including her pet rooster, Boreas, who preferred to crow at midnight - the witching hour.
Hannah Hovey was an interesting character and maybe she was a witch. People to this day believe they still see ghostly apparitions in the cemetery where she was buried. What do you believe?

The Fukushima nuclear disaster was a major nuclear disaster, which began on March 11, 2011, with the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, in which nearly all of the power plant's backup energy sources were damaged, resulting in three nuclear meltdowns, three hydrogen explosions, and the release of radioactive contaminants into the surrounding environment. Following the disaster, at least 164,000 residents of the surrounding area were displaced (either voluntarily or by evacuation order), although many have since returned to their homes.
As a result of the earthquake and the following tsunami an estimated 18,500 lives were lost. Many people believe that the souls of these people may still haunt the areas where they lost their lives. Watch to the end and you be the judge if the "passenger" is one of the lost souls.

Ed and Lorraine Warren were famous for their research into supernatural, ghostly, and demonic occurrences. Their paranormal research included reports of possessions and conducting exorcisms in some cases. Many times, they would come across objects that were directly linked to a haunting or possession. Once these potentially haunted items were identified the Warrens would take them to the Warren's Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut. One of the most famous objects in the collection is the Raggedy Ann doll, otherwise known as Annabelle. After Lorraine passed away the museum was closed but these items are still out there.
